Low Season – Mid-September – Mid May (except Christmas and end of year)
High Season - Mid-May – Mid-September (with heated outdoor pool), plus New Year period
Closed January - March and Christmas Period
To secure your booking, we request signature of a rental contract which has been produced by Clévacances in conjunction with the tourist board, together with a deposit of 25%. This deposit is to be paid in Euros by one of the following methods:
1. Cheque from a French bank account
2. An exchange and international transfer service such as FastPay by Caxton FX. A secure online funds exchange and international transfer system at no additional cost to you or us. The exchange rates we have found to be better than the Post Office or High Street banks.
3. Other online systems such as TransferWise, which is easy to use with no need to set up an account. We have found that this option provides on balance a better return for your money as the exchange rate outweighs the small charge.
4. PayPal, whereby we raise a request for the deposit to your email address. We will need to add a supplementary charge of between 3.5-4% to cover our additional expences. You may pay this either by online banking transfer from your bank or via a credit/debit card.
5. IBAN – International Bank Transfer from your UK bank account
Payment of the balance may be made by cheque drawn on a French bank account (on your arrival), via Caxton FX FastPay online system, via PayPal (the secure online payment system) or via International Bank Transfer. Payment via the last three options should be made at least one week prior to your arrival. Alternatively, the balance may be paid in Euros on arrival.
During July & August, due to the high demand for our cottages, the minimum rental is one week with rentals starting and ending on a Saturday..
The price includes TVA, (value added tax) the bed linen with the beds already made up for your arrival, towels in the bathroom, electricity, gas and for Les Tourterelles & Les Chouettes any wood used for the wood burner.
Wi-Fi internet access is unlimited..
A local stay tax (Taxe de séjour) applies. I am obliged to collect 1.80€ per adult per night. Rate based on four star classification.
Options
Cleaning Service – You may reserve a cleaner in advance to the clean your cottage after you have departed giving you more time to enjoy the facilities.

Insurance
Please note by civil law in France, you are deemed responsible for any damage incurred be it accidental or otherwise. You are therefore requested to ensure you are covered by insurance for temporary holiday accommodation. In England, this would normally be covered by travel insurance. In France, this is normally covered within your home insurance policy ‘l’extension villégiature’. Our insurance requires that you provide us with the details and indemnify us accordingly.
